Tibet Autonomous Region “Expo Tour” starts in Shigatse

the Tibet Autonomous Region, “World Expo Tour” launch of the world’s highest city in Shigatse City. Tibet Tourism Bureau Deputy Director Wang Songping, Shigatse Prefectural Party Committee, district administrative office on behalf of the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, attended the ceremony.
Wang Songping said Shanghai Shigatse’s development is inseparable from the support and help, Tibet will actively cooperate with the Shanghai Expo promotion. Shanghai World Expo will be not only the world event, but also in Tibet to show the world its own platform.
Launch ceremony, the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, introduced the preparations for the Shanghai World Expo; Tibet Shigatse Tourism Corporation and the China International Travel Service signed a “cooperation in Shigatse region, organizing groups to visit the World Expo agreement.”
It is reported that the event organized by the Tibet Autonomous Regional Tourism Bureau, Tibet Tourism Corporation and the China International Travel Service Contractors Shigatse, Tibet Autonomous Region, as well as Shigatse Tourism Expo Office Council. Designed to further enhance the Shanghai World Expo will be awareness among the people of Tibet, to narrow the distance between Tibet and Shanghai to attract more people in Tibet to Shanghai to visit the Expo next year.
